PsychoPy Course

Home of the PsychoPy course of the Technical support group of the Radboud University Nijmegen Faculty of Social Sciences. PsychoPy is an alternative to Presentation, e-Prime and Inquisit. It is a Python library and application that allows presentation of stimuli and collection of data for a wide range of neuroscience, psychology and psychophysics experiments. When used on DCC computers PsychoPy is guaranteed to be millisecond accurate.

Courses and support

The Technical Support Group (TSG) offers support for Master and PhD students using PsychoPy in the Faculty of Social Sciences (both DCC and BSI) labs or elsewhere.

This website contains a short course in PsychoPy, geared toward use in the Faculty of Social Sciences. There is also a printable version of the course. The course is the basis for a workshop for students of the Behavioural Science Institute.

In the master curriculum there is a course Programming in Python. It is part of the Research Master's programme in Behavioural Science.

There are many, many, more tutorials and manuals for PsychoPy. The reference manual is especially useful.
